Inject-shoes, shoes and Blisworth Canal Festival
.I got my injections. They were nothing to do with shoes. I was very disappointed. There was me thinking here we go, I am going to get my inject-shoes, something really tasty to chew on, but no. Instead a lady examined me in the mouth, felt me all over, held a cold bit of metal to my chest and stuck something up - well I am too polite a dog to say where! That wasn't all though, she then went on and stabbed me with a large needle in the neck. All this time my so-called owners stood there and allowed it. In some cases they even helped. I was not impressed. The only good thing were all the people who came and made a fuss of me - of course look at that picture, who wouldn't!
I am now apparently allowed "out." Joanna, my owner has told me that she will be having a Fire and Air stall at a Canal Festival this weekend at Blisworth. I tried to say I should accompany her to that, but she claims I am still too young for two full days. She even went on to say that I was too young for Tuesday - when she has a group visiting Salcey Forest who are coming to learn "survival skills," Guinevere one of the other dogs around here tells me that means fire lighting.
I wasn't impressed by being told I was too small to attend. If I have to suffer in-ject-shoes then surely I should get something out of it! So I ate Joanna's shoes. Well her shoe box, I was trying to get through to the shoes, but fell asleep whilst still on the box. She relented later however and said maybe, if I am good, I can come next Thursday to a Family Forest Fun session at Salcey Forest. Apparently that is for younger children (3-8) so she thinks I might fit in well. With that promise I have been so good I couldn't be gooder! I even helped when Joanna was cutting up branches that will be transformed into Dragons eggs and wood wizards. for the Fire and Air activities at Blisworth Canal Festival.
