Woodland Parties

Make your child's birthday party an outdoor adventure with activities like den building, fire lighting, and more! 

Parties take place in a Forest near Colchester and can be aimed at any age from pre-school to teenagers.

​Party Activities
Each party is tailor made to you and your child's requirements.  
Parties take place entirely outdoors and are a mix of guided activities and free play and exploration.

You may want to choose a themed party. Past themes we have delivered include;

Cost
Parties are normal charged at £150 for up to 15 children with extra guests being charged at £10 per head. Parents are welcome to attend the party too and we need a minimum ratio of 3 parents for 15 children. 
​Parties last for approximately 2 hours.
Cost includes light refreshments (marshmallows & squash), led activities and online invitation template, certificates of attendance for each party participant, and an activity sheet.


Food
Food can be provided at an extra cost of £3 a head. This is usually pizza wraps and the children prepare their own. We don't recommend this for children under 7 as it can take time and distract from other activities. You are welcome to bring your own food but please be aware there are no indoor facilities so would be need to be prepared and served 'camping style'.


Cake
You're welcome to bring a cake for the birthday boy/girl! We recommend bringing individual servings (like cupcakes) as this makes it easier to serve in the outdoors.

What to wear
We will run activities whatever the weather, as long as conditions have been assessed to be safe. All visitors should therefore be sensibly dressed. They must wear strong shoes and long trousers (no shorts). We advise that waterproof coats and headgear, walking boots or wellington boots and a warm jumper are worn in all but the hottest weather.
