There are six different bags, including:
- Fantastic Forests - Get to know the trees intimately, by exploring them whilst blindfolded, then look more closely at their structure to identify them and understand their importance.
- Natural Art - Get creative and explore the forest through a variety of arty activities – even the least artistic will find success in using natural materials to create sculpture and colourful woodland masterpieces.
- Sensory Explorers - A fun packed activity walk to stimulate children's senses. See, hear, touch, smell, discover and learn.
- Amazing Animals - A selection of clues and evidence left behind by forest animals and birds, as well as a minibeast search in the forest habitat, will inspire the detectives and naturalists within your group.
- Minibeasts - A fascinating way to study the forest as a habitat. Use pots, magnifying lenses and identification charts to get a close up look at the creatures living beneath our feet.
- Shelter Building - A great team activity. Children work together to construct sturdy shelters from natural forest materials. Test the structures using the 'rain test' and extend your activity using tarps and ropes.
