Mindful walking offers the chance to immerse yourself in the natural world. The walks will introduce you to the natural beauty of the local surrounding and give you an opportunity to slip into a slower gear and appreciate the outdoors.
Mindfulness practice will increase your awareness and bring appreciation to walking and to the landscape. You will be led and introduced to ways of developing a mindfulness practice that can be integrated in to your daily life.
These walks are suitable for most adults aged 18 and above who want to experience the simple structure of an esacpe from everyday life and enjoy walking.
Regular meditation and mindfulness can be helpful in managing stress, depression and anxiety, although these may not be suitable if you are experiencing major depression or other psychiatric illness.
